iShares Real Estate 50 is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the FTSE NAREIT Real Estate 50 Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of the large-capitalization real estate sector of the United States equity market and consists of the 50 real estate investment trusts within the FTSE NAREIT Composite Index. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. As of Apr 30 2015, the Fund's total assets totaled $91,984,004 and investment portfolio totaled $91,935,456. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing
share price, and the resulting changing USRT market cap history over the course of time is important for investors
interested in comparing USRT's market cap history versus its peers.
Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
a price of $20 per share and think the latter company is worth twice as much. Of course, that is a completely meaningless comparison without also knowing how many shares outstanding there are for each of the two companies,
and then calculating their respective market caps. Comparing the share price of USRT versus a peer is one thing; comparing
