| About Vanguard Scottsdale Funds - Vanguard Long-Term Corporate Bond ETF |
| Vanguard Long-Term Corporate Bond (the Fund) is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to track the performance of a market-weighted corporate bond index with a long-term dollar-weighted average maturity. The fund is designed to track the performance of the Barclays Capital U.S. 10+ Year Corporate Bond Index. It invests by sampling the index. All of the fund's investments will be selected through the sampling process, and at least 80% of the fund's assets will be invested in bonds included in the index. As of Aug 31 2013, the Fund's investments portfolio was valued at $842,401,000.
