| Washington Trust Bancorp is a bank holding company. Through its subsidiary, The Washington Trust Company, of Westerly (the Bank), Co. provides a range of banking and financial services to individuals and businesses, including commercial, residential and consumer lending, retail and commercial deposit products, and wealth management and trust services. Co. provides a variety of commercial and retail lending products. Commercial loans include commercial real estate and commercial and industrial loans. In addition, the Bank provides a variety of deposit products which consist of demand deposits, NOW accounts, money market accounts, savings accounts and time deposits.
