Werner Enterprises is a transportation and logistics company engaged primarily in transporting truckload shipments of general commodities in both interstate and intrastate commerce. Co. also provides logistics services through its Werner Logistics segment. Co. has two reportable segments: Truckload Transportation Services, which provides truckload services dedicated to a specific customer generally for a retail distribution center or manufacturing facility, and includes the medium-to-long-haul van fleet, expedited fleet, regional short-haul fleet, and the Temperature Controlled fleet; and Werner Logistics, which is a non-asset-based transportation and logistics provider.
