The Materials Select Sector SPDR Fund is an open-end management investment company. The Materials Select Sector SPDR Fund (the “Fund”) seeks to provide investment results that, before expenses, correspond generally to the price and yield performance of publicly traded equity securities of companies in The Materials Select Sector Index (the “Index”). In seeking this objective, the Fund uses a replication strategy. As of Sept 30 2015, the Fund's total assets were $2,118,161,325 and the Fund's investments portfolio was valued at $2,093,350,057.
