Ames National is a bank holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. provides products and services for commercial and consumer purposes, including loans, deposits and wealth management services. Co. also provides investment services through a third-party broker-dealer. Co.'s lending activities consist primarily of commercial and agricultural real estate loans, residential real estate loans, and business operating loans and lines of credit, equipment loans, vehicle loans, personal loans and lines of credit, home improvement loans and origination of mortgage loans for sale into the secondary market. In addition, retirement accounts such as individual retirement accounts are available.
