The Russell 1000 index iShares Fund is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Russell 1000 Index (the Index). The Index is a float-adjusted capitalization weighted index that measures the performance of the large-capitalization sector of the United States equity market. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. As of Mar 31 2015, the Fund's total assets were $11,676,220,910 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $11,652,002,672.
