Virtu Financial is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is a financial firm. Co. has two operating segments: Market Making and Execution Services. Co.'s Market Making segment principally consists of market making in the cash, futures, and options markets across global equities, fixed income, currencies, cryptocurrencies, and commodities. Co.'s Execution Services segment provides agency execution services and trading venues that provide transparent trading in global equities, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), fixed income, currencies, and commodities to institutions, banks and broker dealers. Co. provides agency execution services across several asset classes.
