| WaFd, Inc. is a bank holding company primarily operating through its subsidiary, Washington Federal Bank (WaFd Bank), a federally insured commercial bank in Washington state. WaFd Bank provides lending, depository, insurance, and other banking services to consumers, businesses, and real estate developers. Its core activities include accepting public deposits and offering various loans, such as first lien mortgages, construction loans, multifamily and commercial real estate loans, home equity loans, and business loans. The Bank also invests in U.S. government and agency obligations and other investments.
