Mission Produce focuses on the farming, packaging, marketing and distribution of avocados to food retailers, distributors and produce wholesalers worldwide. Co. grows, sorts, packs, bags and ripens avocados and a small amount of other fruits for distribution to domestic and international markets. Co.'s marketing and distribution segment sources fruit from growers and then distributes fruit through its global distribution network. Co.'s International Farming segment owns and operates orchards from which substantially all fruit produced is sold to its Marketing and Distribution segment. Co.'s Blueberries segment is a farming operation that cultivates blueberry plants in Peru.
