PureCycle Technologies commercializes a purification recycling technology for restoring waste polypropylene into resin, called ultra-pure recycled resin, which has applicability for reuse as virgin polypropylene. The purification step is a purification recycling process that uses a combination of solvent, temperature, and pressure to return the feedstock to near-virgin condition through a configuration of commercially available equipment and unit operations. The purification process puts the plastic through a physical extraction process using fluids that both extract and filter out contaminants and purify the color, opacity, and odor of the plastic without changing the bonds of the polymer. We show 10 historical shares outstanding datapoints in our PCT shares outstanding history coverage, used to compute PCT market cap on those dates.
Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing
share price, and the resulting changing PCT market cap history over the course of time is important for investors
interested in comparing PCT's market cap history versus its peers.
Many "beginner" or "novice" investors will look at one stock trading at a price of $10 per share and another trading at
