| Schwab Strategic Trust is a no-load, open-end management investment company. The trust seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Dow Jones U.S. Broad Stock Market Index. We show 248 historical shares outstanding datapoints in our SCHB shares outstanding history coverage, used to compute SCHB market cap on those dates. Understanding the changing numbers of shares outstanding, the changing share price, and the resulting changing SCHB market cap history over the course of time is important for investors interested in comparing SCHB's market cap history versus its peers.
